green tee instead of coffee

So after reading a bunch of different opinions on such things, I decided to conduct a small experiment with my coffee intake. I have a nasty headache almost every day and the doctors have not been able to figure out why, they just throw drugs at it. The drugs don't work. So, I've read that caffeine can cause headaches. I drink a pot of coffee every morning. Strong coffee.

So, I've decided to get out the single cup French press instead of the 12 cup pot and limit my coffee to two cups in the morning. If I want something else I will drink tea. I made some cold tea with green tea, ginger and raspberry flavored green tea. Great flavor with a bit of a zingy aftertaste that sticks around. My body type is supposed to react well to this combination.

Guess what? It is. So far. I feel calmer, not jittery and the only reason I have a headache is I'm going on about 3 hours of sleep at this point. The green tea is supposed to be full of antioxidants and lots of good stuff. We shall see. I've had my two cups of coffee out of the press and I'm more satisfied with that than an entire pot of drip coffee.

More to come as this experiment progresses.

**Update of sorts:
I can already feel a huge difference in my energy, headaches and over all feeling. All an improvement. Though my sleep the last two nights has been horrid I've woken up refreshed.
